1.0 out of 5 stars If this was a Report Card, it'd say "Could Do Better"., 1 Oct 2007
This was a bit of a disappointment - it's not that I ask much of my Silhouette Bombshell books; I know what they are and I don't expect Tolstoy - mostly because for the first couple of chapters I thought it was going to be unusually good!

It's written in the first person, which I have a preference for, and the heroine starts out fun & likeable. But somehow it never quite pulls off its early promise ... the author forgets details e.g. suddenly the red sheets have morphed into black ones ( I do so much hate when an author and editor can't between them get the details right!) and the heroine almost flattens out - the best way I can put it is, from 3 dimensional to 2 dimensional.

Plus the hero slaps her twice, right at the beginning. Big uh-oh ... in my space, guy slaps woman, guy equals pond scum. So I never did get into him!

Ah well, at 0.1p second hand, it's a good enough way to pass the time on a plane.
