A Kid's Review

This book is why historical romances were written! I was sucked in from page one with its dashing rake and respectable widow whom we all know must succumb in the end , but will take her own time doing so. Nicola writes with such fluency and passion that it sweeps the readers away to a time long forgotten in 18th century England where Napolean is at war and no one knows where his spies are in the land; and thus enters Deborah Stratton who have no wish for war or her father ruling her life either! What does she do when such father demands she leaves where she is and returns home to Bath? She invents her own fiance which means a dashing rake - Lord Richard Kestrel , coming to the rescue once again.
But with spies on the loose and passions burning high, donn't expect a quick resolution any time soon!
What an utterly mind tingling read with such intense lovemaking scenes!
You want to read it over and over again.
