Tanya and her husband Jake have been separated for several years leaving Tanya with the upbringing of her young son John. However John is missing a father figure in his life and wants his father. Tanya feels compelled to ask Jake to return home for a visit to see John. However when Jake does return he professes an intention to stay, but with his glamorous girl friend Shiela in evidence Tanya is unsure whether it is worth trying to save her marriage.

It was years since Tanya Had seen her husband Jake - infact they had married each other, for what seemed a good reason at the time, and that had been that. But now their young son needed a father, and Tanya had asked Jake to come home again. Even in the circumstances, though, she was not prepared for the hostility and suspicion with which Jake treated her -
or for the fact that his glamorous girl-friend Sheila Raines was still very much in evidence. Even for the child's sake, was it worth trying to save their marriage now?
