Product Description

Product Description

Offers a combination of the phonic and "real book" approaches to teaching reading. The book includes activities and rhymes that reinforce and extend language skills. This story focuses on common emotions as a young boy describes how he felt on each day of a very eventful week.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helping to explain feelings....., 5 Mar 2004
By Helen (Lymington,) - See all my reviews
This book is perfect for young children, if you are looking at a way of talking about feelings - it works well with the Foundation Stage Curriculum, and the Steeping stones based on feelings (PSED).

It is about a young lad who during the course of the week is scared, excited, happy, proud and sad and helps children think of how they express those feelings - we see 'I', the main character, stamp his feet with anger, smile and smile with happiness and more.

A delightful book and well worth adding to your collection, particulairy if your child is struggling to express him/herself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!, 14 Oct 2005
By A Customer
Our son received this for christmas last year and it became a firm favourite at bedtime. He soon learnt to recognise how different facial expression convey different emotions.
Excellent for 2-3 year olds.
