Great stuff from Laumer, here is a cracking adventure/romance set among the stars. A natural for celluloid.

Kieth Laumer, possibly better know for his more amusing novels, played this one straight in 1967, and it is one of the best sci-fi stories ever written. A decade before Star Wars, this is space-opera, western and adventure all rolled into one. Anyone who reads it will love it, guaranteed.
