4.0 out of 5 stars An attractive and fun overview for fans, 25 Jun 2001
By A Customer
This isn't going to set the world on fire, but it's very nicely put together, with sections on the history, the players, the stadium, etc. Illustrated very well, with a good sense of history: it's not just about the 90's. Illustrated lavishy and very well laid out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sums up our History perfectly, 5 Aug 2006
I recieved the book as a gift many years ago and still use it today when i would like to know what year something hapened or when did someone leave our club.
The book has everything you need to know between the years of 1878 and 1999 and is put together brilliantly. It includes in depth information about what happened each decade from the Ernest Magnall Era to The Busby Babes to the ultimate treble.
It has summaries of each manager and their achievements and every player to ever play for the boys in red including the number of appearances, goals, other teams he played for and when he joined and left.
And even more, it includes every season from 1880 to 1999 with our games played and results. And from 1946 onwards, full details of who played in each game, who scored, attendance and substitutions.
It's something which you can use quickly to find out any information from who we played to get to the 1968 European Cup final to what position we finished in the 1983 season.
