5.0 out of 5 stars Great little book for Beginner/Intermediate chess players, 15 Jan 2001
100 challenging puzzles, many taken from real games between the great masters (including combinations overlooked by the players themselves at the time). It's also good that, unlike some chess puzzle books, the examples presented here by Paul Lamford are not simply of the "mate in two" variety - 3 and 4 move variations are included, which genuinely makes this book suitable for more skilled players. Great for assisting with development of simple analysis skills, and what a great price!!
