Product Description

Mia is about to turn eighteen and has decided to put down her princess pen for good. This is your one and only chance to find out how it all ends – including the answers to hotter than hot questions like: Is the practically perfect J.P. the real love of Mia’s life? Will an election in Genovia mean the end of princessdom for Mia? Is she REALLY the last virgin at Albert Einstein High? And finally, crucially, will Michael Moscovitz return from Japan and make a last-minute romantic gesture just in time to save our heroine from making a VERY big mistake??? You have so got to read the book!

5.0 out of 5 stars a satisfying ending to a brilliant series., 22 April 2009
this book is the tenth and final book in the princess diaries series, if you have been following the series already there is no doubt you will enjoy this. If you haven't read the previous books i would definately reccomend them as they are funny, down to earth and likeable. The main character Mia left us with an unhappy ending in the ninth book and we join her again in the tenth which is meant to be set two years after the ninth. She is unhappy in her relationship with J.P, her ex Michael has just moved back from Japan, she also has to deal with turning eighteen and helping her father win an election. It all sounds very complicated-not forgetting Mia wants to loose her virginity before graduation! As this is the last book, the real question is: will Mia manage to pull together and finally get the happy ending she deserves? I couldn't put this down, definately 10/10

4.0 out of 5 stars A satisfying finale to a great series , 7 Jan 2009
By H. A. Janahi "MJ" - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
In the final installment of Princess Dairies, Princess Mia Thermopolis goes through some pretty intense and stressful times that all students go through- choosing a college to go to after graduating from high school. But Mia has got more on her plate than she can deal with; she's stressed about her father's political campaign. She's worried about her repeatedly rejected novel that she has written for her final senior project, the extravagant party Grandmere is throwing her for her upcoming eighteenth birthday, and oh, the fact that Michael Moscovitz has come back from Japan, and she suddenly misses sniffing his neck when she already has a boyfriend whom she actually cares about. How will Mia solve her entangled issues in this gripping finale, and will she achieve the self-actualization she so wanted to fulfill at the outset of the series? Read to find out.

Although the ending was predicable, the book was thoroughly entertaining. Avid fans of Princess Diaries will not be disappointed by this finale. I have practically grown up with the princess diaries, as I started reading them when I first entered high school, and so I thought many of the book's part were very nostalgic. So sad to see the series end, but very glad it ended satisfyingly.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best in the series; a great way to end!, 2 Jan 2009
I started reading the books when i was in my early teens and recently got back into them and after reading 1-9 was very excited to read this book to find out how the series ends. I wasn't left disappointed - 10 out of 10 for sure!!!.

This is definitely my favourite of all and well worth buying and reading. It is longer than the others so there is more of Mia and her friends to enjoy. We finally find out the reason behind Lilly's harsh treatment of Mia (which we and Mia can forgive her for), what Michael has been up to, if Mia and Michael (who has returned from Japan to live once again in New York, a success!), are still in love with each other and are meant to be together, how Mia celebrates the milestones for every 18 year old i.e, her 18th birthday/prom/graduation, the true intentions J.P has been keeping from his royal girlfriend (who we won't forgive for many reasons), if Mia is able to get her romance novel published, whether Mia's father will become the Prime Minister of Genovia and what colleges Mia and her friends are going to now they are nearing the end of high school.

Fans of the series and characters will not be disappointed with the conclusion which leaves them high school graduates with collages picked out and in relationships with their true loves (M+M!). Mia's relationship woes (friendship and romantic) are played out in a great way with her conflicting love for Michael whilst being in a relationship with J.P and her estranged friendship with Lilly which we find out if they manage to men (Where will Lilly stand now Michael is back!). The small but frequent moments of the novel dedicated to Mia and Michael's interactions work well and give the reader and Mia a great dose of Michael showing how he and Mia have grown up and how they are mature enough for relationships!!!

Cabot continues the form of the other novels and makes sure the reader is informed of what occurred in the time gap between books nine and ten. The ending is perfect with all loose ends being tied up and giving the reader a good idea of how the characters lives and loves will continue into the future.

Even if you haven't read the other books in the series this one is the one to read but if you fancy reading this great book series (which I recommend) then all read from 1-10 so you don't get confused by the order of events or spoil the ending for yourself and get a full understanding of the life of a Princess, specifically in this case Mia!
