(REAL NAME)      
I am a sucker for books about the lives of artists, and this is a little gem as it explores the interconnectedness, meetings and friendships of some of America's key creative spirits. And of course now my list of books 'to buy' or 'to read' has increased. Although I had heard of 85% of those included, I did meet a few new and interesting people! Books like this help to build the web of overview about any particular time in history, as well as feeding our interest in the creative heart.
