5.0 out of 5 stars Clarifies the whole concept of the flowline, 31 Aug 2000
I disagree with some of the reviews here. I have been playing around with authorware for a few weeks and struggled to get to grips with the whole flowline concept. The main reason for this was because I kept using the knowledge objects to build fairly limited material. This book ignores the knowledge objects and focuses on building sections on the flowlines. It has certainly made me feel a lot more comfortable with using authorware. The examples are very easy to follow and provide 20 hours of self-study tuition which would otherwise cost a heap more in a classroom environment. I would now like to see a follow on book covering intermediate to advanced features.

4.0 out of 5 stars A perfect book for those without previous experience...., 3 April 2000
By form@omniformmedia.p.se (Alingsås, Sweden) - See all my reviews
I knew very little about Authorware when I got the book and the book took me throught the basics with great fluency. Most of the time easy to understand, some minor mistakes. It doesn't make me an expert in Authorware but I hardly expected that. Now I will move on to more challenging books and tasks in the subject.

4.0 out of 5 stars Superb tutorial of the Authorware Basics, 18 Sep 2000
By A Customer
I agree that it would have been nice to include the Knowledge Objects in this book. I thought the book was superb in the material that it delivered. The problem is that it leaves you wanting to know about the more complicated things the software can do. Does anyone know of a good follow-up book?
