Product Description

Product Description

This text is part of the "Oxford Revision Guides" series. These are reissues of the two series "GCSE Revise Through Diagrams" and "Advanced Revision Handbooks", now combined with newly branded covers. The GCSE titles have extra 16-page sections on revision techniques and sample questions for the new GCSE syllabuses, first examined in June 1998. The A-level titles just have new covers, but will be revised in 1999 for the new A-level syllabuses. This book covers the A-level business studies syllabus and uses diagrams and concise notes to help students revise.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent way of learning, 5 Jan 2002
Every picture-diagram tells a story. There is no other easier way of learning than memorising a picture(diagram). The book focuses on Advanced Business studies using the unique way - "through diagrams." If you are studying economics or business studies at Advanced level then I strongly recommend that you JUST briefly read through this book just once and BELIEVE ME you will love it !!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish, 6 May 2001
This book is a complete waste of money and time..Badly written, in a style that suits only the crammer market.

No colour. No past questions - it's not even interesting.

I am an A level Examiner and this is simply one of the worst books I have read - and it's written by a Chief Examiner!

4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth a buy as an additional aid, 30 April 2001

Great revision guide! Everything from the product life-cycle to the economic environment is laid out in an easy to understand way. Some people find remembering pictures and diagrams easier than pages and pages of text, if so, this guide is for you!

My only quibble with it is that its all in black and white with most diagrams/charts in multiple shades of grey. Perhaps a little colour here and there would have made some of the diagrams more memorable.
