Dunn's first collection is, by turns, witty, poignant and thought-provoking. His poems display a unique mastery of both the English language and the poetic form. The subjects are universal and the style accessible. Be among the first to discover this rising star.

Perhaps best known for his solo circumnavigation of the globe in 1992, Antony Dunn has since turned his hand to poetry. Needless to say, as a man who knows the sea, Dunn's focus is largely turned to all things aquatic, but this does not give his work a two-dimension feel. Rather each poem has the depth of an ocean, and the texture of a wave crashing against the hull of a mighty ship. A fantastic debut.

A delightful odyssey through several years of the poet's life, through which we can experience an honest account of what it is to be a child, a teenager in love, and a yong man exploring his emotions and his maturing relationships. His review of the poetry of Morman MacCaig in 'Lines Review' is a masterpiece. He will go far!
