Flame must hide in the human world as a kitten but can't stay in any place for too long for fear of his uncle finding him. So Flame travels from family to family in various kitten guises using his, often chaotic, magic spells to help those who need it along the way… Lisa isn’t happy that she has to stay with her aunt in the country for the summer – she’s going to be so lonely and bored. But then one morning she finds a tiny ginger kitten in her aunt’s barn and suddenly Lisa’s summer looks much brighter…

My daughter aged 7 and I her mother found this book very exciting and funny and sad in some places too.

A Summer Spell about a girl who has to holiday in the country with a long lost aunt. She finds a magic kitten and the not so dull holiday turns in a magical one.

We cuddle up every night to read a book and this one got her to bed early as she wanted to hear the next bit of the tale unfold.

It is written fantastically and keeps both you and your child gripped with anticipation.

There is a whole set of these and I hope they are all as good as the 1st one.

A Kid's Review
It's about a girl called Lisa and a lion who turns into a kitten called Flame. I enjoyed it more than Lizzy zipmouth. If you read this book your heart will fill with excitement like mine.
