Product Description
Synopsis
What if the one that got away was closer than you thought? When Kennedy's husband, Frank, ups and leaves her for his high school ex, a surfer named Sunny, then announces he's going to leave his law firm to teach yoga, Kennedy is finally free to do what she's always wanted to do with her life. Now, if she could only figure out what that is...Determined to bring the spirit and independence of her former self to her life as a surburban mother of two, Kennedy visits some of her old New York City haunts, including Declan McLynn's - the Greenwich Village bar where she used to work. Lo, Declan himself is behind the bar - and he's just as sexy...and single...as ever...

5.0 out of 5 stars The one that got away...., 10 Nov 2003
When Kennedy is dumped by her husband for a young, clueless surfer called Sunny it looks as if she is going to crash and burn, troubled teenage daughters, financial troubles and a money grabbing Mom are the least of her troubles when the one that got away re-enters her life. Declan is everything her ex, Frank, wasn't, good looking, funny and laid back.

When Declan comes into Kennedy's life again things just get trickier and trickier, a rollercoaster of events take the pair through tears, laughter and everything imaginable and you the reader are left breathless with anticipation as to what will happen next.

Finishing this book will leave you with a smile on your. An extra of this book is an up close and personal with the author, so if you're someone like me who always has questions on their mind after finishing a book, the answers here are enough to satisfy even the most inquisitive of readers.
