Every Young Boy's Dream, 20 Dec 1998
By A Customer
I remember reading this classic story as a young boy, and, as I fell to sleep, I would be left dreaming of the exciting adventures Danny had with his kind father. I could see the little hot air balloon they had made together, glowing in the still, quiet air. I could feel the excited fear of the poaching expedition and how good it would be to be brave like Danny. It is a boy's dream to be taught things by his father. School can wait. Much more fun to learn with dad. One day when my father was busy working on the boat he was making for me. I had to go to school and I desperately wanted to help him. I pleaded with him and eventually he said I could stay and help that day. I was Danny for that day - the most memorable of my childhood. You won't hear a peep out of your child with this classic story of a father and son's adventures. It will be read and re-read for generations.
