Product Description
Amazon.co.uk Review
Dinosaur Roar! understands perfectly the infinite appeal of dinosaurs for little children and the result is a delightful book for pre-schoolers, with 24 pages of big, bold, friendly dinosaur pictures with just enough smattering of roaring to keep the excitement bubbling.

Words are kept to a minimum, but Dinosaur Roar! cleverly teaches many adjectives and comparatives as it introduces each new dinosaur: "dinosaur clean and dinosaur slimy".

Children adore this book and will want it read again and again.

Also available as a board book. Age 12 months - 3 years. Victoria MacKenzie END --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Synopsis
This picture book is filled with dinosaur opposites from fat to tiny, from fierce to meek and from sweet to grumpy. It contains rhyme, strong rythmns and repetitions.

5.0 out of 5 stars My three year old and six year old love this book, 12 Nov 2001
By A Customer
Dinosaur Roar has wonderful large, animated illustrations. The water colour detail and bright colours are so enticing. The simple text rolls off of your tongue and is a joy to read again and again. My six year old practices her penmanship by copying the text in her note book. It is a favorite in our home.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 14-month old adores this book!, 13 Jan 2000
My young son (14-months) just adores this book. He can't read yet, of course, but he just turns the pages and is delighted by the brightly-coloured pictures. Every day, at some point, he will come up to me waving Dinosaur Roar in the air and when I say, 'shall I read this to you' his face just lights up. It's a great little book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hugely enjoyable, 16 Sep 2005

(TOP 50 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
This is a great book - tremendous fun and already a firm favourite with both my sons (4 and 1).

It consists of 24 pages (well really 12 double pages) of wonderful, highly stylised but still quite realistic dinosaurs. The text is simple and sparse but very effective, utilising opposites and rhyme. For example, stretching over four pages, the book contains the text Dinosaur Sweet, Dinosaur Grumpy, Dinosaur Spiky and Dinosaur Lumpy.

Very good fun and highly recommended.
