My kids love this one, they say they can almost smell Schnitzel's basket! We have heaps of Lynley Dodd Books and they are all favourites and a must for any young library.

Bouncy text and plenty of humour with a little pathos thrown in. My five year old loves this story and we both know it off by heart but it does not stop her from requesting this over and over again. Good fun and really considering I have read it hundreds of times, that is saying something!
