5.0 out of 5 stars excellent!, 23 Mar 2000
By A Customer
I bought this for my 13-year-old son, started reading it and couldn't put it down. Swindells describes how racism comes from the younger generation nowadays. It's a macho thing, a pride thing. He describes well how easily it can grow, how you can get suckered into a hate-race movement. I'm keen for my son to read it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping tale of true things in everyday life., 19 Jan 2001
This story is about two boys who are the best of freinds. There are two racial gangs in the town one for the blacks and the other for whites. They both plan to fight each other and each boy joins a seperate group. So then they become the worst of enemies.

it was a really interesting book! its one of my fav. books i ever read...

the story was based on racism and the thing that caught your attention was the fact that it was based on a real life issue... the characters were also very realistic.
