Product Description

Product Description

Trevor's mum has offered him GBP30 to walk the dog every day of the holidays. But Streaker is no ordinary dog, she's a rocket on four legs with a woof attached. Trevor's sure there must be a way to control her and Tina, his best friend, knows about training dogs. Their attempts involving such things as a pair of roller skates, a mobile phone and a bicycle, always lead to trouble. Horrid Charlie Smugg bets Trevor he can't train Streaker before the end of the holidays. But Trevor and Tina construct a dream plan and Charlie has to eat his words.

5.0 out of 5 stars Laugh-out-loud funny, 14 May 2000
By A Customer
I read this book to a class of 7 year olds and at some points they were rolling on the floor with laughter. The author has captured exactly what it is like to be a child in the summer holidays and covers subjects such as bullying and friendship with a sense of humour. I have had many requests to read it again.

4.0 out of 5 stars The problem with controlling Streaker., 17 May 2002
By A Customer
Mum says she'll give Trevor a brilliant amount of money if he walks Streaker for the holidays. But Trevor, the ideas man,has a few ideas that you might think are BULGING with brillant brain cells but actually end up as zero. After some of these faulting ideas,Trevor visits to the police.Tina and Trevor HAVE to control Streaker by the end of the holidays or they'll end up in a very frogspawny problem.
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THIS BOOK: It is a terribly funny book and I liked the way Trevor added in bits as he told the story. I like books about dogs and the way the author has fitted it together.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT THIS BOOK: I would like it if the author told us what fate Charlie chose. It had a rather blank ending.

4.0 out of 5 stars This book is very good
The thing that is good about the book is that it is about a realy fast dog and these two teenages have to train him in two weeks and if they do one teenager gets 30 pounds.
