I had travelled to Florence before, but without a guidebook. This guidebook was a great companion for my day trip, and would provide bountiful information for travellers staying longer. It had great pictures, great layout and was a great allrounder. A real rival to Lonely Planet guides! I would recommend this read to anyone visiting Florence. It had a pretty comprehensive listing of areas of interest in Tuscany too, which many other guides leave out. All in all, Florence deserves to have a book devoted to it, and this certainly does the city service.

Has all you need to know for that 2-3 day stay in Florence. Hotels, travel and brief descriptions of the people, history and art. A good size for your pocket or handbag.
