This book helped me achieve what I thought was impossible, 26 May 2002

I smoked for 20 years, had reached nearly 30 a day and after countless failed attempts I despaired of ever stopping. Until I read this book. I stopped smoking two months ago. I still can't believe how easy it was. No willpower required, no patches or chewing gum, no bad tempers, no withdrawal symptoms. You may be put off buying this book by the thought of HAVING TO STOP SMOKING when you read it. DON'T PANIC! You don't have to stop while reading the book. You don't even have to stop once you've read it. The choices are all yours. But [...] what have you got to lose? A few evenings' reading and the cost of a couple of days' smoking, nothing more. I was reluctant to start reading at first, but once I realised I didn't HAVE to stop smoking while I read it, I felt easier about it and got started. What happens is that you "stop smoking while you're still smoking" - which does make sense if you think about it. You can read with an open mind because there is no pressure to stop smoking while you read. As you read, it will dawn on you that you CAN stop smoking, and as you get towards the end of the book you will find yourself WANTING to stop. By the time you finish the book, in your mind you are already a non-smoker. All that's left is to stub out that final cigarette and start enjoying life as a non-smoker! From day one I had no desire to smoke, and from day one I knew I would never smoke again. I feel exactly the same two months later. This book has changed my life. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
