Bare Review, 6 May 2005
I read this book to learn more about George Michael, If the content is valid then it was intersting indeed. I have since read comments from George Michael that said the stuff in Bare was all crap. In any case, I found it enjoyable reading. I adore his music, so reading about the early years was fun. Andy and his antics, his laziness, and the fact that without him none of it would have happened. Lazy, and Andy used in passages numerous times. I found that so funny. The oversexed Mr. Michael nowadays, and the charming young man of yesterday. Both irrisistable. I loved this book.

A MUST for every Fan !, 20 Mar 2000
I've been a fan for more than 15 years, and only recently got a copy of BARE. Eventhough I have several interviews etc. I still found that I gained so much more understanding after reading BARE. The book is written in a easy-to-read manner and includes a lot of sections by other people. The pics are cool too.

Very nice to read it, even after all these years, 18 Nov 1999
I liked Bare very much, when I have read it last year. You might say, "It is a bit late to read it, considering that there are other, more recent books available. But, I love it, because it shows that GM really has not changed much, despite all the attention and sucees that he enjoys (and money, do not forget the money, too). He would have been my favorite musician, no matter what he was like in real life, because I believe that art should only be judged for what it is. However, it is comforting to know that he is also a decent and lovely person. Thanks, YOG!
