4.0 out of 5 stars Good technical overview, 9 Jan 2002
By A Customer
Very helpful - certainly in some of its algorithms and explains well some of the concepts taken from very important and influential papers such as Murase and Nayar's Visual Learning of Object Models from Appearance.

However, on occasion some of the algorithmic maths (which is fairly complex) was found to have small mistakes (eg mixing up n and N-squared). If working through or implementing the algorithms they can be spotted after some thought - but if the editors missed them...
