5.0 out of 5 stars Best book on Java out there!, 29 Feb 2008
By Paul Hudson "Mind Games" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Java:How to Program 7th Edition is a comprehensive tour into the world of Java. It looks at Object Oriented Design, Object Oriented Programming, Software Engineering aspects of the Java programming language. The book gives Software Engineering tips, advice on best practices, examples of Java code, traps not to fall into etc. Other books on Java I have read do not go into so much detail on Java subjects, such as interfaces, but skirt over them. Java:How to Program 7th Edition IS the best book on Java which covers all bases, other books fall far short. Just buy this book, and you won't be disappointed.
