Peter is a very knowledgeable guy and an excellent writer.

This book is highly recommended for those interested in the Linux O/S. It is a step-by-step instruction manual for installation and usage, it is also a detailed and easy to understand guide to the Linux operating system for the home user. The included bootable CD provides a test drive of the Linspire distro and the book covers several other flavors of Linux as well. Packed with resources, tips and anecdotes, this book is all you need to become a Linux guru.
