As a course supplement this book takes a no-nonsense approach to financial accounting amd disclosure analysis. There are plenty of exercises and cases in the book (a little less than half of the 990 pages) along with some self-study problems with the answers provided. There should be more of these however. Good thing that stands out is the constant comparance between the US and the U.K. accounting principles.
