3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent if you want to get deep into the theory of MVA, 4 April 2001

This book was recommended to me for my Masters course in Applied Statistics and that is exactly the right target. If you want to really get into the proofs and theory of Multivariate analysis this will give it to you.

The authors are assuming a fair understanding of simple statistics and calculus in the reader and are aiming primarliy at the academic market rather than for use as industrial application reference book.
