I happened across this book during my MBA studies. I didn't have any marketing knowledge. This is by far the best introductory text I have seen. Furthermore, it is an excellent reference point. The index is highly usable. Looking up a subject to get the key concepts worked every time for me. Highly recommended!

I finished business studies and i read this book to expand my knowleges on marketing. It covers all the subjects in marketing in assosasion with managment. I found it very usefull for someone who want to be aware about marketing and to gain the ability to communicate and understand the marketing department role and goals in business

Kotler's comprehensive guide to marketing will become a classic - one to benchmark the rest against!

The book allows the reader a fuller appreciation of the sheer range and depth of the topic of marketing. Adedemic perspectives are underpinned with real life business examples in order to generate credibility for both the student and the manager seeking solutions.
