5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent insight into the life of Reggie Kray, 22 Jun 2000
By A Customer
A natural writer. Reggie covers old ground in this book and describes the life and times in the east end back in the 60's. The reader gets a first hand account of how the Kray brothers lived their lives to the full up until their imprisonments. Reggie gives a clear insight into the prison life he has led for the past 30 years. It is obvious that he has touched the lives of many people. The only thing wrong with this book is that it isn't long enough, maybe there will be more to come...

4.0 out of 5 stars I actually read a book, 7 Jan 2005
If you like all the gangster films and books then this one's a good'un. Reading how he feels about all the stories you hear, like when he killed McVitie, is interesting and I've never read a book in my life!

5.0 out of 5 stars Thugs, mugs and violence, 10 Dec 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Born Fighter (Hardcover)
If you liked this book, read 'Thugs, mugs and violence' by Jamie O'Keefe another of Reggie's mates. Reg Kray liked it so much he did the foreword.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reg the Ultimate Gangster!
This has to be the best book I have ever read. Reg Kray talks about his early childhood, how he and Ron went to national service and refused to play by the rules. Read more
