5.0 out of 5 stars David Lodge meets Isaac Bashevis Singer, 1 Oct 2000
By A Customer
The deliciously far-out wanderings, sexual schemings and poignant search for his roots of English lecturer Nicholas Kraven make an un-putdownable cocktail. The reader is whisked along the roller-coaster of invention, as poignancy, farce and wry wit jostle amid Shakespearean references. Whacky and irresistible.
