5.0 out of 5 stars kidnapping Gods??, 21 April 2001
By A Customer
Andrew Harman has out done himself again in his writing of this book. Using two characters of Flagit and Nabob to kidnapp Gods and causing trouble downunder. However i do get the feeling that the book could have gotten its inspiration from Terry Pratchett's book "Small Gods". Its a good book and would be enjoyed by a large audience. i would certainly recommend that you read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliantly funny, 10 July 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Deity Dozen (Paperback)
I can re-read this book over and over again, the comic tale of the commercialsation of Hell. It brings home all the things we take for granted and how they have made our lives different, better in someways but worse in others. In the same vein as Pratchett, Harman uses things we can relate to but not entirely the same, such as Mhodems which transport messages at super high speeds...
