Product Description

Product Description
This is the first ever "Star Wars" novel featuring Yoda, the most famous Jedi Master of all time! Never before has Yoda, the most famous Jedi Master ever, starred in his own "Star Wars" novel. Now, at long last, he gets the spotlight, against the backdrop of the Clone Wars and the collapse of the Republic - the Jedi's greatest challenge and, as of the movie premiering in May 2005, their ultimate downfall! Author Bio: Sean Steward is the acclaimed author of the "New York Times" "Notable Book Mockingbird", "The Night Watch", "Clouds End", the "New York Times" "Notable Book Resurrection Man", the Aurora Award-winner "Nobody's Son", and the Aurora and Arthur Ellis Award-winning debut "Passion Play".

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting, 6 Dec 2004
As the clone wars paperback release schedule gathers pace, it was only right and proper that Yoda and Dooku (such a poor name for a major villan)have a starring role.
the book is generally well written although as seems to be the course recently fairly short.
I found myself finishing the book within the week.
The only reason I have not given 5 stars is the authors writing style when he suddenly becomes Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchett. At on stage i was expecting to see a footnote at the bottom of the page.
Other than that top marks.

5.0 out of 5 stars superbly written!, 20 Oct 2005
This book is a must read for star wars fans, and for others too! the author has made a good job of the emotions and actions of the characters, but still keeping the reader in anticipation. If your looking for a good read; buy this, its worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars A bit of a copycat, 31 Jan 2005
This book is kind of similar to Star Wars: Episode 2: Attack of the Clones in the final scene where Dooku and Yoda battle and then Dooku does something that means that Anakin and Obi Wan will be destroyed and that means that Yoda has to save them instead of capturing Dooku.
However, on the plus side of things, the book shows you how Anakin is growing closer to the dark side with every single step he makes. For example, he really wants to kill Dooku, not just capture him. It also shows you how fast Obi Wan is growing up and now he is a Jedi Master, it means that you can see that he is growing old and how episode three will fit in with the star wars, episode 4, a new hope.
