Product Description

Product Description

Dad hates pets; in fact he hates animals, full stop! So a family trip to the zoo is definitely not his idea of fun. When they arrive - disaster! Two African elephants have broken down the walls and all the animals have escaped. Dad insists on rushing home to make sure no run away animals go anywhere near their house. But when they get back, there is something very nasty and very smelly on their doorstep...Could it be that they are already too late!

From the Back Cover

Dad does not like animals.
Seals are too slithery.
Penguins are too wobbly.
And rhinos are too knobbly!
And as for polar bears . . .

So when there is a break out from the zoo and Dad finds a beastly calling card on his doorstep, he is not happy!

A riotous story for all animal lovers (and their grumpy dads) with endearingly naughty illustrations by a gifted, new young artist.

(REAL NAME)
This book is a treat for both your eyes, and your child's. The story follows a child who loves animals, but whose father is not so keen, until a polar bear escapes from the local zoo. It's a great story to teach young children about different animals, but it's the pictures that really make this book and will keep you going back to it again and again. The detail is fantastic, and the style is very different to a lot of other children's books you will see. Looking forward to seeing more from this wonderful illustrator!
