4.0 out of 5 stars Good for Children, 19 Oct 2001
A Redwall Winter's Tale is probably the best picture book I have ever read although it does not continue in the Redwall theme of heroes and villains which I think would disappoint some people including my self. But it would be very good as a bedtime story and younger than my self. Overall I think A Redwall Winter's Tale is good if it is not taken as part of the Redwall series because it would disappoint people who have the other books in the series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the great redwall feast, 18 Nov 2001
By riversarl@hotmail.com (Auckland, New Zealand) - See all my reviews
Great illustrations (they're so cute!), and a great visual interpretation of the abbey itself, but has a soppy storyline which lacks the charm of the rhymes in the Great Redwall Feast.
