5.0 out of 5 stars Absorbing, 14 Jun 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Follies (Paperback)
Never have I been so engrossed in a book before, I literally could not put it down and read it in one day whilst on holiday. Its by far the best book I've read in a long time. Rosie Thomas seems to have a way of making it seem so real and like the characters really are living through what the story is telling. Its all about a year at oxford and the stories of 3 young girls as they journey through this year together. I'd highly recommend it as an insight into human relationships and also how very special frienships can bring you pain and happiness. Absolutely brilliant, I'll be looking through Amazon now to find other books by Rosie Thomas.

This review is from: Follies (Paperback)
I am a big fan of Rosie Thomas. I have just finished reading Follies in two days I just could not put it down.I felt like I was living in Oxford with Helen, Chloe and Pansy.
The style of Rosie Thomas really makes it so real she writes so beautiful with such feeling I would recomend Follies to all Rosie Thomas fans as a must read, and share in the lives of the three modern women while at Oxford University.
