As a primary school teacher I think very highly of Martina Selway's books. Her books are about children doing everyday things but they are written in a way that the children enjoy and have empathy for Rosie, the character in the stories.
Teachers in year 2 will find these books great for covering texts about everyday situations and letter writing in the Literacy Strategy. My children have loved these books and so do I. There are other stories about Rosie and her friend Roland Roberts.
