5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent guidance & help for the first time public speaker, 14 Nov 2000
By A Customer
This book was a birthday gift. I found it excellent and easy to follow reading. Definitely a book for the "nervous" first time speaker. It encourages us to have rapport with our audience, something which I would not have thought of. It guides us through the delivery of our speech and helps us with the tone of our voice and its delivery.

It also encourages us to look good, thereby making us feel good and having more confidence. From personal experience, scruffy dressers have been a distraction, thereby causing the listener a feeling of unease.

It is easy to carry around when attending meetings, which is always a plus. I will definitely be buying a few more copies to give as Christmas presents.
