5.0 out of 5 stars A book to treasure, 7 April 2001
By A Customer
This is a wonderful and inspiring book for all involved in care of the dying, for all those who mourn a loved one, and actually for all of us who will face death at some point. Christine Longaker draws on her experience both as a bereaved spouse and as a hospice worker to provide very helpful advice and techniques on how to face our own mortality as a prerequisite to be able to support others. Much of the book draws on the rich spiritual tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, but it is equally applicable in any other religious or spiritual context.
