Mr T never fails to produce a gardening book which does exactly what it sets out to do. It informs and inspires at the same time teaching us how to be a gardener without us ever realising that we are being educated. Mr T's deep seated love of gardens and their care comes through on every page. He never lets us down. I watched the series on TV, but always wished that there were plans to go with the gardens. This book rectifies that lack, and gives an even greater insight to the individual gardens. The TV series was great, but this enhances the watching of the programmes (which I keep on my TV recorder and watch regularly.)

Not a bad book should you want to relax and browse through, but obviously, don't take it as a substitute for Alan Titchmarsh's more detailed gardening books.
