I was a bit disappointed with this book, as "Celtic Collection" to me sounds like a lot of designs with celtic patterns, whereas this book contained plain sweaters found in other knitting books under "Aran", "ganseys" and so on. Perhaps it was my expectation that made me feel a bit cheated here. Nice enough patterns and wearable styles, but not very celtic.

I awaited with great anticipation, Debbie Bliss and Celtic sweaters! What a disappointment, so many garments are just variations from previous books. One good point is that at least some of the garments use yarn other than Rowan - nice qualtity but too expensive for everyday use, especially children's garments which are oh so quickly outgrown.

A really lovely book ,full of lovely photographs and lovely designs for knitwear for all members of the family.One of my favourites is the childs smock....I adore the variations Debbie does on this ,oh-so practical,sensible garment....this time in Merino wool.
