This book is an excellent reference guide for both breeders and owners. It gives a very accurate insight to each individual dog's character, behaviour and most suitable surroundings. I have owned dogs for many years now and fully agree with every detail written. It is also a wonderful piece of work to have on your bookshelf.

This book was brillant, it enabled me to find a dog that was most suitable for my circumstances, the book contains every little bit of information that you will need to know when making your choice of pet and a lot more, also the pictures for all the breeds gave us a good idea of what to expect.
