Product Description

Product Description
This book is a concise introduction to electromagnetic fields for students on degree and diploma courses. Physical processes and their descriptions are elucidated in words rather than mathematical symbols. Only simple differentiation, integration, and a little trigonometry are required. For this new edition there are new sections on electromechanics and high-frequency phenomena. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

About the Author
He is Honorary Research Professor in the Electrical Engineering dept at Southampton but asked for this to be taken off publicity material as it strikes the wrong note as far as this is book is concerned. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

4.0 out of 5 stars Electromagnetism for Engineers: Introductory Course, 19 May 2007
By A. Chhaya "Shadow" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I am @ Loughborough Uni and its been written by a lecturer originally from here, the book covers my course - Electrical - (naturally), in detail, as well as some additional sections such as computer logic, a good book to start with. You will however want another book/lecture notes most likely to accompany that covered in the book.

Worth a look :)
