1.0 out of 5 stars As clear as Mud!!, 19 Jan 1999
By A Customer
What I've learned about XML thus far has come from Internet websites. So I wanted a 'Complete' book on XML to show 'this is what it is, and this is how it is done'. After the first few chapters of this book, I am now thoroughly confused - COMPLETE(LY)!

2.0 out of 5 stars Complicated, but the stuff kinda works, 12 Nov 1998
By A Customer
I have had trouble with the cd-rom. These files do not work in my parser. There are no solutions in the book. It needs troubleshooting section.

1.0 out of 5 stars shamefully padded

1.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating - a waste of time

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Worth the Money
It says on the back blurb that the author has written 35 computer books. It's pretty easy to see why. Of 500 pages, perhaps 20 have useful content. Read more

Any updated version of source code can be found on-line? Then the book will be more useful. You can learn more when you debug the code.
