Product Description

Product Description
This book/disk offers scientists, engineers, statisticians and programmers a toolbox of numerical routines in Visual Basic. The routines support number-crunching applications that run in Windows. Each chapter briefly describes the numerical analysis algorithms covered in the chapter; discusses the implementation of the related Visual Basic code; presents the code for the individual routines, with comments outlining the purpose, the role of the parameters, error handling and other features; supplies brief test programs; and includes text boxes and icons to highlight tips, tricks and warnings, where appropriate. The disk features all the mathematical routines explained in the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best book on the subject, 14 Jul 2007

Recognised as a seminal work in its field by engineers and scientists alike, this is without a doubt a must-have for antiquarians with an interest in the historical development of mathematical algorithms, particularly with respect to, though by no means limited to, Visual Basic. I can't recommend it highly enough.
