2.0 out of 5 stars very basic, 8 Aug 2008
By Mark Gittins - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
A basic text about the OAS, contains a very small amount of useful information but doesn't go into enough detail or cover most of the questions that I had about OAS. I bought it but I wouldn't recommend it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Oracle application server admin (not that handy) handbook, 30 Mar 2009
By P. Chandler "P" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Like the last reviewer, I don't think the book is detailed enough. I haven't read the whole book but have read sections when I have had to perform certain tasks. The backup and recovery section wasn't helpfull at all and I found a lot more usefull information on Oracle's own site.
