4.0 out of 5 stars Very comprehensive, covers all material needed for exam, 13 Jun 2001
By A Customer
This book covers all that's required for MCSE exam 70-219 and I passed the exam using this book. The first 3 chapters are very wordy and pretty boring but once the book gets onto the 'meat' ie. AD replication and architecture, FSMO roles, etc. it's spot on. Exam 70-219 is not a techie exam like the MCSE core exams, it's higher level stuff which is why the first three chapters read like a consultant-level view of AD. Don't be put off by these initial chapters, once the book gets going it gives a very in depth explanation of Active Directory and is enough to get you through the exam.
