4.0 out of 5 stars Good exam revision but not a cram session!, 14 Aug 2002
Good book with lots of detailed content that helps towards the exam over a 4 week + period - this is not the book to buy if you want to cram before the exam!

Test questions are good and varied, but are not in the style of the exam so would recommend buying the Transcender test if you want to pass first time.

2.0 out of 5 stars Incomplete guide for Exam 70-176, 11 Jun 2000
The guide covers several of the topics covered in the exam fairly well (provided you ignore the typos and other mistakes ). Unfortunately it does NOT cover all the topics. The tests were disappointing as well as they are in a completely different style to the real tests. In case your wondering, this isn't a sob story, I did pass the test first time, but no thanks to this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good book for VB professionals, 15 Mar 2000
By tjoselin@aol.com (Guildford, England) - See all my reviews
This book is very good, but only if you already have knowledge of working with VB from a professional point of view. It won't teach you how to program in VB, but will fill in any areas of VB that you don't use in your day to day experiences.

This book was invaluable in bringing me up to scratch with areas of the system that I don't normally use, such as the package and deployment wizard. (I normally use Wise)

Buy this book, but only if you are already comfortable with VB, and are just looking to fill in those problem areas
