I confess that I haven't read beyond the first chapter yet, but I'm still finding it hard not to be completely distracted by the litany of unsubstantiated claims about how lean six sigma is going to save your business. It may be that the rest of the book is worth while, but so far it's not looking good, which is a shame because I was attracted in at the start by the way that it claimed to focus on the most important and useful bits of six sigma rather than trying to cover everything you might possibly want to know in equal detail.

I'm also surprised, given that there is another title in the same series called "Six Sigma DeMystified" that the book appears to have nothing explaining the difference between "Six Sigma" and "Lean Six Sigma".
