This book is very good because it provides succinct analysis of the PLL system and also very through insight into the PLL mechenism,like pull-in process,pull-out process,lock in process and lock out process.Also,it dicusses the 1st order,2nd order and 3rd order system with the performance compared.It covers the linear PLL model,classical PLL model,software PLL and all digital PLL.In all, you should put this book on your desk if you are designing PLL system now.
