A wealth of exercises and practical "how-to-sing" information is presented in ADVENTURES IN SINGING in a clear, lively writing style.

ADVENTURES IN SINGING includes the most comprehensive coverage of tone production on the market, and at a level of detail appropriate for the amateur singer.

The 60-song anthology in ADVERTURES IN SINGING is prefaced by program notes that provide background on each song, to help the singer prepare a more informed interpretation. International Phonetic Alphabet notation and word-by-word English translations of all foreign texts are also included.

Two audiotapes and CDs of piano accompaniments for all songs in the anthology are also available with the text. Because many students lack sight-reading skills, the recordings include a faint instrumental rendition of the vocal line so students can sing along with the tape without the instrumental line intruding or competing with another voice. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
